Do you still believe that Swansea can challenge for the top 6 this year Ed?

{Ed001's Note - they can, but it is looking less and less likely they will. It is hard to believe just what has happened, but it is clear the players are still playing for Monk. The attitude when they went 2-0 down yesterday showed that.}

Do you have any idea why it's going so wrong at the moment?

{Ed001's Note - it is just one of those things, it happens to every manager at some point. This is when they really learn how to manage, but often it is done in the lower leagues, away from the spotlight, so you don't see it. Klopp had a similar issue last season, Mourinho is going through it this season. The problem Monk has is that he doesn't have the back ups to switch in when his first 11 lose form, no one to make them fear for their place. So instead he has to find other ways to motivate them and get them back to form.

Only time will tell if he has the ability to lift the players and get them back to form again. Personally I think he needs some experienced help to open his eyes to other options. Either way, I do expect him to sort things out, to a degree at least, and I don't see any danger of relegation this season. My issue is if he has that inspirational quality needed to lift the players to the next level.}

Monk seems like such a nice bloke too so it'd be a shame to see him go and the players clearly love him and respect him. So long as the team is still playing for him then he shouldn't get the sack-unless of course results are that bad. Tough games coming up now as well which is not what Monk will want in this difficult time! I'm not sure if you regularly watch the swans ed but a friend of mine said that the first half against Bournmouth was the worst he has ever seen them play. I'm not sure if he was over exaggerating but the fans can't be happy with this. That being said, I have faith in Huw Jenkins not to be swayed by the fans and I believe that he is one of the best chairmans in the league so whatever the club does, you can only back them and hope that they are doing the right thing as they have done in the past.

{Ed001's Note - I get to watch every Prem game over the course of the week, so watch a fair bit of them, though I haven't yet seen this match. They are playing for him, but they are clearly totally bereft of confidence.}

Lucky you Ed! Not going to help the players' confidence playing an in-form Liverpool side which looked outstanding against City on Saturday.

{Ed001's Note - as a Liverpool fan, I hope you are right. Though it is games like this that Monk can treat as a freebie, no one will expect anything, so losing should not really knock confidence, but getting a result will lift it massively. Oh and try this: http://goo.gl/RQwL7 they usually have the matches online.}

Thanks Ed! Is that site legal though?

{Ed001's Note - good question, I am not sure. There are definitely legal sites out there, usually they require a subscription. I haven't checked that particular site out I linked to you, but ones that are legal (and used by scouts and football clubs around the world) are wyscout.com, instatfootball.com and info.scout7.com

Thanks for that ed. I had a bad experience with an illegal site last Saturday whilst watching Liverpool-Man City where a virus very nearly found its way onto my computer. I'll check out those sites though!
